We are looking for the right candidate to assist in the definition, delivery, and support of technical infrastructure projects, including business requirements, functional requirements, resources, schedules, delivery milestones, and overall quality. The Order Manager is responsible for coordinating enterprise hosting implementation projects for new and existing clients. This position requires the ability to direct and balance a variety of diverse requests, priorities, and activities. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of both the business needs and the technologies being utilized to implement the business solution. This position must be able to manage multiple simultaneous projects, including scope definition, planning, documenting, leadership and management of cross functional teams, timeline execution, and meeting required deliverables.

Job Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Owner for assigned implementations – must command and control the orchestration of the successful implementation of services
  • Manage customer relationship by providing implementation process expertise and by managing client expectations for duration of the order
  • Schedule and chair key milestone update meetings
  • Coordinate the work efforts of multiple resources to ensure all milestones are met
  • Accurately forecast revenue associated to the implementation of services
  • Track and measure implementation progress to provide senior management with project/order status and escalate client-impacting issues
  • Provide a transition to the post-implementation/support organization at the completion of each project and performing appropriate hand-off activities
  • Participate in company sponsored and individual training efforts to refine and improve existing skill sets and gain new relevant skills
  • Execute on directives deemed necessary by management
  • Ability to identify client needs
  • Work closely with other team members & departments to ensure client needs are met while meeting internal objectives
  • Develop timelines and documentation regarding new implementation process to ensure seamless client experience and surpass client expectations
  • Participate in implementation meetings and updates for clients to ensure timely communication and project completion
  • Manage activities of external agencies involved in implementation to provide client with seamless and optimal service delivery.

  • Ability to make sound decisions – (ability to effectively balance logic with data to make   sound decisions)
  • Must have a sound understanding of a wide variety of methodologies and be able to adapt quickly to apply the right processes and procedures to make your projects a success
  • Must understand the underlying technologies and risks/constraints of such technologies
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management skills - advanced knowledge of MS Project, XLS and Visio
  • Execute top communication skills and collaboration building amongst all management.
