Layered Tech, the leading global provider of Compliance Services, Cloud Hosting and Managed Hosting solutions, is looking for a skilled and highly motivated Digital Marketing Manager. The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for coordination and execution of paid and organic search initiatives, lead flow, lead tracking and website maintenance/development. This position will function as a key point of contact with third-party digital marketing agency.
Job Responsibilities
- Corporate Web Site
- Implement changes from digital marketing agency
- Add/revise web pages and related content using best practices (optimize for SEO and lead conversion)
- Add press releases via ‘CMS’ tool
- Implement JavaScript changes (live chat service, tracking scripts, etc.)
- Technical/programming changes (main site = PHP, MySQL; custom data handlers: ASP.NET (VB))
- Corporate blog updates (software and content)
- Research and implement new technologies (example: Twitter cards, LinkedIn integration with careers page or lead forms)
- Future – coordinate migration to CMS platform
- Digital Marketing Strategy
- Coordinate efforts with digital marketing agency
- Assist with overall marketing messaging and campaigns
- Ensure digital marketing goals are defined and measured
- Advise on digital marketing best practices – usability, testing, optimization, analytics
- Assist with paid search ad copy creation
- Assist with landing page creation/testing strategy
- Review and advise on web content
- Competitive assessments
- Graphics
- Design assets for web site (buttons, banners, icons –purchased icon library is available as a resource)
- Handle requests for corporate logo in various sizes/formats for partner sites, trade shows, etc.

- HTML email design for marketing initiatives (external and internal)
- Maintain email signature generator

- Revise existing InDesign case study templates with new content as new case studies are developed
- Revise existing InDesign managed services brochure with changes from LayeredTech operations group
- HubSpot (inbound marketing tool)
- Design and implement html forms for lead capture; work with Salesforce administrator to ensure appropriate data is captured
- Compile various reports from HubSpot into monthly report for senior management
- Add/revise email nurturing campaigns (triggered by various form events)
- Unbounce.com (landing page tool)
- Design and implement landing pages using Unbounce.com service
Job Requirements
- 5 years experience managing a progressive digital marketing program
- Industry knowledge is a plus: IT infrastructure or integration companies including hosting service providers, software, security, IT consulting, or system integration
- Strong writing, design and knowledge of digital tools (described above)
- Self-motivated and a strong work ethic
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Formal digital marketing training and education
