*Senior Sales Represenative, US Fed Gov Sales job in Ashburn, VA

Layered Technology’s government solutions   subsidiary is called NEW WORLD APPS.    NEW WORLD APPS is a leading provider of FISMA-compliant Secure Private   Clouds, Secure Community Clouds, and secure hosting services for security-sensitive   government applications.  Active in the   U.S. intelligence community, and over half of the cabinet-level U.S. civilian   federal government agencies, NEW WORLD APPS is a leader in the delivery of   secure Cloud and hosting solutions.    NEW WORLD APPS is looking for a talented U.S. Federal Agency Senior   Sales Representative to be a key member of the company’s business development   team.   

This individual will be assigned strategic U.S.   federal government agencies to build broad senior level relationships and   generate revenue.   Sales   representative will be responsible for selling the full suite of NEW WORLD   APPS service offerings to government customers and prospects.  Must be skilled and effective in selling to   the highest levels of assigned federal agencies, as well as prospecting, identifying,   and gaining access to decision makers critical to each sale.

Skills & Abilities: Minimum of five years successful   technical IT Sales experience required.    Demonstrated track record of achievement selling complex IT services   to the federal government.  Executive   presence and experience effectively selling to senior government and   corporate executives required.    Excellent listening skills, problem solving ability, excellent   interpersonal skills, strong organizational and time management skills,   excellent verbal and written communication skills,  ability to work in a team selling   environment.  Cloud and hosting   services technical expertise a strong plus, but not required. 

Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required.  Security Clearance is not required but must   have ability to pass a government background check if required.  

BS/BA degree required.
