Bruce Chatterley is responsible for leading a talented team of cloud and hosting professionals in partnering with customers to solve complex IT and Security problems. He has more than 25 years of domestic and international experience working in high-growth technology companies. Chatterley was most recently President and CEO of Broadvox. Prior to that, he was President of Business Markets at Megapath, Inc., a nation-wide Competitive Local Exchange Carrier. Chatterley helped to create Megapath by co-leading the three-way merger and integration of Covad, Speakeasy, and Megapath. Chatterley was also President and CEO of Speakeasy where he generated significant growth and led a major strategic shift - including its ultimate sale to Best Buy, Inc. in 2007. Prior to Speakeasy, he was CEO of ViAir and President of Eservices/SME for Concur Technologies. Earlier in his career, Chatterley held sales, marketing and business development leadership positions with Ameritech, US West, General Electric and IBM. He is also a past member of the Board of Directors for Clearwire Corporation, until its 2013 sale to Sprint. An innovator throughout his career, Chatterley has been named as inventor or co-inventor on nine patents. He earned his BSBA from Central Michigan University and his MBA from the Kogod College of Business Administration at American University.
As COO, Kurt Hoffman brings to Layered Tech more than 30 years of technology and operations experience in North America and abroad. Previously he served as COO for Hawaiian Telcom, and was COO of Speakeasy where he played a leading role in its acquisition by Best Buy in 2007. Hoffman also served as Senior Vice President for Network Deployment and Operations at Level 3 Communications, where he managed the build out of its fiber optic network across Europe; and he was Vice President of Global Operations at Sprint/Global One based in Belgium.
John R. Faulkner has served as the CFO of Layered Tech since 2008 and oversees all accounting, finance, treasury and legal functions. Faulkner plays a key role in managing Layered Tech’s rapid growth and helping the company achieve operational efficiency with his cost-management strategies and best practices. Previous to his role at Layered Tech, Faulkner was VP of Access Finance for Level 3 Communications, a global provider of fiber-based communications, where he oversaw the company’s acquisition of Broadwing in 2007 and was responsible for total cost of services management of the combined company. He is a Certified Management Accountant with more than 18 years’ of experience at high-growth, entrepreneurial companies including Dell, Altra Energy Technologies, Inc., and Pavilion Technologies, Inc.
As co-founder of New World Apps, now operating as LTGS, Dan Tudahl has more than 25 years’ experience in the hosting, cloud, security, and Government areas and is a pioneer in the secured SaaS service delivery model. Prior to that, Tudahl, held various executive positions within the IBM Corporation and technology consulting firm Pittiglio Rabin Todd & McGrath (PRTM). At PRTM, he helped lead the firm’s Information Technology practice and led major process improvement projects at AT&T, IBM, Lucent, Lotus, Seagate, Xerox and CIENA corporations.
Nate Brancato has overseen the development of strategic client and partner relationships, helping grow Layered Tech into a leader in secure cloud and managed hosting since joining the company in 2008. In his previous roles as Vice President of Sales at Arrow Speed, and Executive Director of International Development for Premiere Technologies, Brancato gained international and domestic experience in the areas of finance, marketing, customer service, computer software, and communication strategies.
David Martin joined Layered Tech in 2011 and directed the successful launch of an applications management team serving SaaS clients. Martin was later promoted to Director of Advanced Client Services, and most recently to Vice President of Client Services. Previously, he was Director of Technical Services at ICOP Digital where he led technicians and engineers in field operations for law enforcement agencies throughout the U.S. and internationally. Prior to that, Martin led technical operations for IRSA, a cloud-based law enforcement evidence-management and mapping software company. In addition to his more than 15 years’ of technology and client service experience, Martin was also a police officer in Overland Park, KS and is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
