Jack Finlayson joined Layered Tech in 2007 as CEO. Mr. Finlayson served for 6.5 years as President and COO of SAVVIS Communications, Inc., where he was an integral part of the SAVVIS IPO, the integration of Cable and Wireless America, and the overall significant profitable growth of the SAVVIS business. Prior to SAVVIS, he held the position of Senior Vice President at Global Crossing Inc. At Motorola, Mr. Finlayson served as Corporate VP and General Manager for the Americas and Asia Wireless Infrastructure Group. He has also held multiple executive positions in marketing, management and sales at AT&T.
Brad brings over 26 years experience working in the IT and networking industry to his role as Layered Tech’s president. His responsibilities include leading our sales and marketing efforts, as well as product management, customer service and business development initiatives. Previously the Chief Marketing Officer at Telx, Brad was responsible for product and solution management, corporate and field marketing, strategic business development and customer support. Before then, he held the position of senior vice president and general manager of the $575M Hosting Business Unit at Savvis, responsible for their co-location, cloud and managed hosting business. Prior to that assignment, he was the senior vice president of sales for the eastern area and federal sales, and began his career at Savvis running the product management and marketing organization. Brad’s first 15 years’ experience was in sales and marketing leadership roles at Sprint in their business division focused on internet and data communications services.
John R. Faulkner has served as the CFO of Layered Tech since 2008 and oversees all accounting, finance, treasury and legal functions. John plays a key role in managing Layered Tech’s rapid growth and helping the company achieve operational efficiency with his cost-management strategies and best practices. Previous to his role at Layered Tech, John was VP of Access Finance for Level 3 Communications, a global provider of fiber-based communications, where he oversaw the company’s acquisition of Broadwing in 2007 and was responsible for total cost of services management of the combined company. He provided financial planning and cost of services management as VP of Operations Financial Management for more than six years at Broadwing prior to its acquisition. He is a Certified Management Accountant with more than 18 years of experience at high-growth, entrepreneurial companies including Dell, Altra Energy Technologies, Inc., and Pavilion Technologies, Inc.
Todd Abrams founded Layered Tech in 2004. Today, he continues to expand the company’s roster of enterprise clients as executive vice president of business development and strategic alliances.. Prior to Layered Tech, he served as CEO and founder of FX-Directors’ Solutions, a leading technology services company in the funeral services industry. At FX-Directors’ Solutions, he built a solid technology and financial foundation that was acquired in 2003, to form Aldor Solutions. Previously, Mr. Abrams served as Vice President of North American Operations for EDGE Technologies, a large wholesale computer component and white-box system distributor. While at EDGE, Todd built the North American Operations and grew sales from $2 million to over $110 million within 2 years, while also establishing 8 U.S satellite locations. Earlier in his career, he worked for EDGE Internet Services Australia (EISA), an ISP that was publicly traded on the Australian Exchange.
As Director of Human Resources, Kristinia Miller originated and leads Layered Tech’s practices and objectives that provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. Ms. Miller is also responsible for compensation and benefits administration, as well as policy development and employee safety and welfare. Prior to joining Layered Tech in 2005, Ms. Miller served in human resource management roles for several large enterprises. She is also a military veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years.
