In the case of The Grid Layer, the minimum number of server nodes on a virtual private data center is 4, scaling up to 48 nodes and even beyond (VMware and Hyper-V are custom configured). Virtual server volumes are mirrored to multiple nodes within the VPDC, ensuring complete redundancy that’s far superior to dedicated server offerings.
