This base-layer managed services solution delivers around-the-clock monitoring for peak performance and availability. Custom alerts are also available via email or a text message to your mobile phone.

Layer 1: Monitoring is available as a stand-alone service and is also included with Layered Tech's advanced managed hosting layers.

When you add Layer 1 services, up to ten System Monitoring points and one Site Monitoring check are included per device. Extra system or site monitoring units can be added for an additional fee.

The Layer 1: Monitoring service features 24/7 system monitoring of your critical servers and applications. With Layer 1 system monitoring, Layered Tech will handle the first response to the alerts, and work according to our escalation procedures to notify the appropriate client contact immediately.

Each purchased unit of Layer 1: Monitoring can track up to 10 of over 100 standard service checks, including the following:

Layer 1: Monitoring does require agent monitoring software to be installed on each monitored system, and access by Layered Tech's staff for the configuration and remediation of the alerts for your installation.

Site Monitoring: Performance Monitoring for Websites, FTP, Mail Services and More

The site monitoring component of Layered Tech's Layer 1: Monitoring service features 24/7 site monitoring of your critical network applications, website responsiveness, mail services, and the visibility of your servers on the Internet to ensure your websites, ftp sites, email, and other network resources remain online and responsive to your customer's needs.

As part of the service, Layered Tech will also handle the first response to the alerts, and work according to our escalation procedures to notify the appropriate client contact immediately. You can also receive custom alerts via email or a text message to your mobile phone.
